Wreaths Across America recognizes and promotes the music of our military musicians covering every branch and all musical genre. Every weekend Wreaths Across America Radio devotes a two-hour block to showcase the music of our military musicians.

The September edition of the Military Musicians Showcase goes out to jazz lovers featuring the United States Air Force Band Jazz Ensemble, Airmen of Note.

The "Note" was created in 1950 to carry on the stylings of Major Glen Miller's Army Air Forces dance band and is the nation's longest-standing military big band.

This month you can hear the first program in their 2017 Jazz Heritage Series featuring jazz trombonist Steve Turre, hosted by Dick Golden

USAF Colonel Larry Lang Commander and Conductor of the United States Air Force Band hopes you enjoy this broadcast.

"The quality of these recordings is a testament to the excellence demonstrated by our Airmen musicians, along with these special musical guests. As you enjoy them, please remember that this is a reflection of the excellence displayed daily by American Airmen stationed throughout our country and around the world. Their selfless service and sacrifices continue to ensure the freedoms we all enjoy. Indeed, we are proud to represent them, each and every time we go on stage."

Wreaths Across America radio is proud to feature this amazing musical ensemble as part of our Military Musicians Showcase.
