“What’s Your Why?” Special Radio Feature

Wreaths Across America has a tremendous volunteer force across the country and overseas. They are what make the mission to remember, honor and teach possible.

Over the next several months leading up to National Wreaths Across America Day, Saturday, December 14, 2019, Wreaths Across America Radioi s sharing their stories of involvement and inspiration to illustrate how everyone plays a part to honor our fallen.

Over 1,640 locations are participating with Wreaths Across America, and last year Wreaths Across America supporters made it possible to reach an incredible milestone honoring our fallen overseas who never made it back home, at the Normandy American Cemetery in France.

Every volunteer has a unique story of involvement that motivates them, and Wreaths Radio asks them, “What’s Your Why?” So far, volunteers from California to Long Island, Illinois to Florida, have shared their stories on air.

Tune in to the Wreaths Across America Radio Morning Show with Michael. W. Hale from 6-9 AM EST to catch some of the “What’s Your Why?” feature stories. They also air throughout the day.

If you’d like to share your volunteer story, you can reach out to Wreaths Radio via email at waaradio@wreathsacrossamerica.org or call and leave a message at 833-369-1351.

Wreaths Radio is a voice for America’s veterans 24/7, 365 days a year as we celebrate volunteerism and it’s free and easy to listen from your computer or smart phone app.
