Wreaths Across America's "Trucking Tributes" Presents the Honor Trailer up for Bid

The first time anyone saw the Wreaths Across America Honor Trailer was during the Annual Wreath Escort to Arlington National Cemetery last December. Wreaths Across America ran a contest to nominate an Honor Truck Driver. Steve and his wife drove the Honor Trailer filled with veterans’ wreaths destined for the headstones of our fallen and it was an experience of a lifetime for them both.

The Honor Trailer was donated by Contract Leasing Corporation, or CLC, and Executive Vice President Brent Russell explains his passion for the Wreaths Across America mission to remember, honor and teach.

"I have an 18-year-old son who aspires to be a Marine and a brother who serves in the U.S. Air Force. I've always raised our children and our family to respect our country, respect our flag, and respect our veterans."

After last year’s escort, it was decided the Honor Trailer should have a special mission for 2019 and that is to help CLC raise more money to sponsor veterans’ wreaths to honor more fallen U.S. service veterans where ever they may be laid to rest around the world.

The Honor Trailer is now up for bid and the bidding is open through April 15, 2019.

“We launched the bidding process on Valentine’s Day this year because we thought that was a fitting day to show our love for our veterans,” Brent explained. “We already have an opening bid of $4,500.00.”
