Did you know that over the last year, Wreaths Across America Radio has become the GO-TO media for major veteran-centric, military and Gold Star events nationwide?
It’s true! Following are some of the highlights with links to hear the stories captured during these important events.
On March 25, 2023, Wreaths Across America Radio was front and center at the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s Citizen Honor Awards. As the only media attending the event, we shared these stories of service and heroism. The Medal of Honor is the nation’s highest award for military valor. Wreaths Across America Radio is proud to be a media partner with the United States Army Women’s Foundation, and we were honored to be invited to the Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame and Scholarship awards in April. Click here to hear our coverage of this event.
In May of 2023, Wreaths Across America Radio took on one of its most significant events in the heart of Washington, DC: Welcome Home! A Nation Honors Our Vietnam Veterans and Their Families! Wreaths Radio, along with its many partners, performed live broadcasts from multiple locations in the area. This included:
Gold Star Family film screening and reception from Daughters of the American Revolutions (DAR) Constitution Hall. Interviews including Gold Star families from the Vietnam War era and representatives from organizations working to bring home our nation’s MIA. To listen to the interviews, click here.
Live! at the library: “The War and Peace of Tim O’Brien,” was screened at the Library of Congress as part of the Welcome Home! events. Wreaths Across America Radio was the only media invited to share this special evening. Interviews included Tim O’Brien’s documentary film director Aaron Matthews and the Director of The Library of Congress Veteran History Project, among others. Wreaths Across America’s Mobile Education Exhibit was set up as part of Camp Legacy located at West Potomac Park from May 11-13th. Wreaths Radio spoke with visitors, Vietnam Veterans, representatives from many other Veteran Service Organizations, and more throughout this historic event. Wreaths Across America Radio has had the privilege to cover many other important events in the past year. We’ve listed each below with a link to where you can listen to the stories shared at each.
The mission of Wreaths Across America doesn’t move without the support from our nation’s transportation industry! Wreaths Across America Radio was excited to attend the Truckload Carriers Association Convention and the Mid-America Trucking Show this Spring. Listen to our coverage here: TCA 2023 and MATS.
You don’t generally see a lot of media at these events, and at Wreaths Across America Radio, we feel it is important to share these stories. If you are interested in supporting Wreaths Across America Radio as we cover these events, or if you are hosting an event that you would like Wreaths Across America Radio to cover, please click here.
Thank you for supporting the mission of Wreaths Across America Radio and keep listening for great content from our Gold Star families, Blue Star families, veterans, Wreaths Across America supporters, partner organizations, and our supporters from the transportation industry.

Wreath Sponsorship
Northrop Grumman Supported by VERITAS and Corporate Citizenship (NG) |150543|
Did you know that Wreaths Across America now offers recurring sponsorships? You can select the occurrence and cancel or pause anytime! Register now by completing this form! (https://tinyurl.com/n735zrbr)
What does it mean to sponsor a wreath? It means you are supporting a yearlong mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those that serve and Teach the next generation the value of freedom. Your sponsorship will support the new and existing programs developed to share the mission. And, it will place a wreath to honor an American hero at one of more than 3,700 participating locations this year on National Wreaths Across America Day – a day set aside to lay gathers as Americans with the same goal.
We can’t do that without your support, though. Your sponsorship will ensure that a wreath is hand-crafted of all-American balsam and hand-tied with a red velvet bow here in Columbia Falls, Maine. It will then be sent to one of our participating locations, where a volunteer will place it on the marker of a hero. That volunteer will then “say their name” to ensure that the legacy of duty, service and sacrifice is never forgotten.
So, what does it mean to sponsor a wreath? It means you have the opportunity to join a grateful nation in saying “thank you” to those who stepped up to serve.
*Please Note: Specific locations designated as "ceremonial-only" accept a limited number of sponsorships. Any additional sponsorships received beyond those used for the ceremony will be distributed to other locations.
