• Donor Privacy

Wreaths Across America values the privacy of its donors. This policy applies to all donor information received by WAA, both online and offline, including through our website, mobile applications, mailings, telephone communications, in-person interactions, and other means.

WAA works with trusted third-party vendors to support our marketing and fundraising efforts. These vendors may include mail house printers or fulfillment partners. In such cases, only the minimum donor information required (such as mailing address) is shared, and it is shared solely to process or distribute WAA-approved communications. These vendors are contractually obligated to maintain strict confidentiality and data security practices. Donor information is never sold or made available for independent use by these vendors. All data transmissions are handled via a secure file transfer to only the minimum and necessary people.

Checks and physical mail processed offline are handled in a secure, locked office accessible only by authorized personnel. Offline donation records are retained for the period required by applicable law and securely destroyed (e.g., shredded) once that period expires.

WAA offers donors an **Opt-Out Policy**: You may request that your name and address not be shared for any external communication purposes by contacting us directly at helpdesk@wreathsacrossamerica.org. Clear instructions are available in our communications and online, allowing donors to opt out at any time.

WAA does not share, sell, or trade your personally identifiable information for any third-party fundraising or marketing purposes beyond what is described above.

WAA allows third parties to place cookies through the Site in order to collect information about your visit to the Site and other websites in order to offer you more relevant advertising across the Internet.

WAA may disclose PII when legally required to do so.

We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site for administrative and security purposes.

• Tell-A-Friend

WAA offers the ability to send a card or invite, by mail and or email, and this information may be stored in the WAA Database.

External sites linked from WAA’s Site are not covered by this Privacy Policy.

WAA cares about the safety of children and minors using our Site. Our Site is intended for users over the age of 13.
