ON Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 12pm, Wreaths Across America will Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Directions to Cemetery

A brief ceremony will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Park (located next to the Kings Bridge) in Howland at 12:00 pm.. (then directly after please travel to the cemetery of your choice.). Contact us to help cover Village Cemetery in Enfield,  Edinburgh, Lowell,  Seboeis Plantation Cemeteries and our newest locations in Passadumkeag,  for instructions to complete these locations, may be done a few days before the ceremony due to location.  

Parking Instructions

Parking in Howland will be at the entrance of Cemetery Road

For West Enfield/St Matthews, please park along Route 2, safely watching traffic to enter the Cemetery.  Village Cemetery at the old Baptist Church Parking lot.  

Hillcrest Cemetery in Lagrange, please park along the road and entrance, please watch for traffic and be safe.  

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are grateful that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Howland, Enfield, Edinburgh, Lowell, Seboeis Plantation, Hillcrest Cemetery in Lagrange and our new location at two cemeteries in Passadumkeag!  Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.  Please allow family members to place their veteran's wreath.  In Howland and WestEnfield, flag stakes will mark each veterans grave.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. This is usually done early spring due to snow. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up. Also information will be updated on the Wreaths for Veteran's Facebook page.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony! thank you so much for helping us achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
