We stand on the “shoulders of heroes” that have gone before us, and really what we strive to do…..Is live up to their “legacy.”

 

What is a legacy?

A legacy is what you leave behind when your physical being has passed on.

 

What is a hero?

He is admired for courage…..

Faithfulness…..

His achievements….

And noble qualities.

 

A soldier is a hero, loyal to his country….

Willing to fight and die!

He has patriotism, courage, honor, loyalty….

And absolute honesty, confidence, and service…..Before self.

 

A good soldier dedicates himself…..To keep…an oath.

 

Faith is precious to the good soldier….

He does everything in his power….

To keep it pure and undefiled.

 

A good soldier realizes he must have….

Determination, selflessness….

Be physically and mentally strong.

 

A good soldier is…..

A follower….. Faithful, familiar, a fighter….

Endures hardship….Does not quit…..

Has determination…… and bravery.

 

A good soldier is…..

Disciplined, has consistency….

Motivation and skills.

 

Soldiers have the most important job on earth!!!!

 

We, as ordinary people, also want to pass on a legacy with quality…

To our community…our church….Our families and friends.

 

We, too, can be a hero…..Just like a soldier…….

And carry on our legacy….Through the years.
