35 Wreaths Sponsored

Saturday, January 15th, 8 am: Wreath removal day. It is helpful to bring a pole, rake, or something to gather up several wreaths at a time. This event goes very fast…we are usually done in less 30 minutes. Again, we are very thankful for Stormwater Facilities for the donation of the dumpster! stormwaterfacilities.com

Wreaths Across America's Trucking Tributes Presents Crowley

It goes beyond the fact that you’re delivering a wreath to be laid on a service member’s grave. You’re delivering so much more when you think of the families that will see that wreath, potentially for the first time, laid on their loved one’s grave. The opportunity to deliver that level of heart-felt thanks is why we do what we do.”...

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

Thursday, December 16th, 7 am: Unloaded the 315 boxes of wreaths from truck. It is helpful to bring a hand cart, wagon, or something to aid in moving the boxes to their holding spot. We might get a bit dirty, so wear comfortable, cleanable clothes! This usually takes about an hour. The more folks who attend – the faster it goes!

The ceremony will start at noon. There is no need to arrive before 11:45 am. At the conclusion of the ceremony, we will take the wreaths and place them on the graves. This year, we will have volunteers pick up the wreaths from the boxes behind the building rather than stage them before hand. We did it that way last year and it seemed to work well.
We have been asked by the Baltimore Veterans Cemetery Director and the VA to keep this event as Covid responsible as we can. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home. I , personally, will be wearing my mask.
