Welcome to the Oaklawn Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Oaklawn Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

MISSION BBQ Customers Donate $352,930 to Sponsor Veterans’ Wreaths for 2025

142 participating locations will receive veterans’ wreaths because of the generous donations in the communities where MISSION BBQ customers support the mission.

Directions to Cemetery

In Wynnewood, at the intersection of Hwy 29 and 77 (downtown) take Robert S. Kerr Boulevard (aka Hwy 29) going east approximately 8 blocks. There is a green cemetery sign at the corner, turn right (south) on Hammack St. (across from Dollar General store). Go south for 8 blocks to South St. You will be in front of the cemetery. Turn right, then an immediate left into the cemetery. The cemetery entrance has an arch with Oaklawn over the entrance gate. When you arrive, please follow the people to the site of the ceremony itself.

Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery along the roads, but please be mindful of grave markers close to the roads and do not block roadways. 

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Oaklawn Cemetery. Our ceremony is at 12 noon.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.

  • Ceremonies are being held at other Wynnewood cemeteries the same morning; Oak Grove Cemetery at 10:30 and Hopewell Cemetery immediately after. 
  • Join us for those ceremonies as well if your schedule allows. 

  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath on a veteran's grave.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths Across America achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
