Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial has stood at the height of San Diego since 1954 as a "Beacon of Freedom". We are charged with honoring and preserving the legacy of 5,800+ veterans living and deceased who have served from the Revolutionary War to today’s War on Terror. We have partnered with Wreaths Across America to fulfill our promise of honoring their legacy this holiday season and remembering their service and sacrifice to our nation. Please support us by sponsoring a wreath that will be laid at the base of our 18 black granite walls. Each wall is adorned with thousands of veteran plaques, telling their service story of bravery, sacrifice, and dedication. On Saturday, December 16th at 9:00 AM we will dedicate these wreaths with a short ceremony followed by the laying of wreaths by volunteers. Please feel free to donate, volunteer, and share this event with your family and friends.
