2025 So Far
0 Wreaths so Far

Dear Community Members,

Each year, Hazelwood Middle School students honor veterans buried in The New Albany National Cemetery by placing wreaths upon their graves in December. This year it is on December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm. We do this ceremony to show honor, love and respect for the veterans, but also their loved ones.

The ceremony is open to the public and will be held in the auditorium before we walk over to the cemetery. Please join us!

If you are interested in only or also making monetary donations, we would greatly appreciate it! One day, we hope to raise enough to honor all veterans there. This year we have partnered with the national program - Wreaths Across America! We are excited to join them, but we still need your help! You can donate directly online on this page. www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/IN0171

We do also accept cash, Venmo or checks.

Venmo-HMSStuCo or for checks please make it out to: Hazelwood Middle School, memo line Wreath, and send them to the following address:

All donations are due to be submitted by December 3, 2024. Thank you in advance for your support and we hope to see you at the ceremony!
