Welcome to the Yuba Sutter Veterans Stand Down's Wreaths Across America Page. Stand Down is proud to bring the Wreaths Across America program to our area once again. This year's goal is 7,500 wreaths, but we are expecting additional cemeteries to participate this year and that number may rise.
This year's program is on December 14th, at 9:00 AM at these local participating cemeteries:
- Sutter Cemetery, with Tom Walther coordinating and hosting
- Sierra View Memorial Park, with American Legion Post 807 and The Beale Composite Squadron 19 Civil Air Patrol
- Colusa Cemetery with Don Parsons and Colusa VFW Post 2441
- Meridian Cemetery with Meridian Lions Club
- Live Oak Cemetery with the Live Oak Lions Club
- Yuba City Cemetery with the Rotary Club of Yuba Sutter
- Wheatland Cemetery
- Fairview Cemetery in Rio Oso
Wreaths are also placed on the grave sites of veterans at some of the smaller cemeteries in our area, with no public ceremony.
Please help us honor and remember by sponsoring a wreath, and attending one of our ceremonies on December 14th.
Wreaths are $15/each. Sponsor a wreath by clicking on the sponsor wreaths button above, or by mailing a check made out to Wreaths Across America in care of the Stand Down office @ 604 D Street, Marysville, CA 95901.
For every 2 Wreaths sponsored though the Stand Down our cemetery will receive a 3rd wreath at no charge.
If you are requesting for specific veterans, remember we can't place a wreath if we can't locate the grave. Please include grave location with your check.
We have been blessed to have the support of local businesses and the community at large who support this program each year. A big thank you to last year's supporters. There are too many to name all individually but they include:

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Ceremonies around the world will be starting at the same moment, so please be on time.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
