Welcome to the SC0343 - Grimes Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 19, 2026 at 1:00 pm (EST), SC0343 - Grimes Cemetery will be helping Grimes Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

Ceremony

The ceremony for all cemeteries will be at the Ridgeland Cemetery on Ingram St., and begins promptly at Noon on December 18.

Parking in the Ridgeland Cemetery is limited. 

Parking is available, and encouraged, at the Jasper County Court House (Russell St. and 3rd Ave.). Golf carts will transport you easily and quickly to the ceremony and back.

Wreath Laying

Wreath laying at Grimes Cemetery will be held at 3:30 on December 18.  Please Volunteer to help lay wreaths at the cemetery.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with Wreath Across America at Grimes Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

If you want to personally place a wreath on a specific grave, please contact the location coordinator for the cemetery before December 10, 2019.  

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.

    • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.

    • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
