Welcome to The Rotary Club of Glastonbury's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 19th, 2026 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details), The Rotary Club of Glastonbury will be placing Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our town's fallen heroes Please help us honor and remember as many of our veterans as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, and inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
We will be holding an honor ceremony at the Hubbard Green followed by the placing of wreaths at 15 Glastonbury cemeteries: Green Cemetery, Glastonbury Veteran Cemetery, Neipsic Cemetery, Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Church Cemetery, Our Savior Cemetery, Saint Augustine Cemetery, Saint James Cemetery, Saint John Cemetery, Saint Michael Cemetery, Old South Cemetery, Wassuc Cemetery, Old Eastbury Cemetery, John Tom Hill Cemetery and Buckingham Cemetery.
If you sponsor a wreath, please do so within the Rotary Clubs main page and then go to the cemetery location within which your veteran resides. Please send any questions or concerns you may have directly to Bob Lopa at boblopa@yahoo.com.

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Green Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.

Welcome to CTVETC - Glastonbury Veteran Cemetery and thank you deeply for helping us with our goal to honor as many veterans as possible on Wreaths Across America Day, December 19, 2026 (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony). with all veteran heroes receiving a remembrance wreath placed on their resting place with a ceremony that will include the speaking of their name, thanking them for their service and a short prayer by volunteers of the Veterans Service Commission. Please click "View" to learn more about our effort or to volunteer to help or click "Sponsor" to purchase wreaths that will be laid on the graves of our fallen heroes by our loyal volunteers.
