Welcome to the Bay Township Area Cemeteries' Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 14, 2024, the Bay Township Area Cemeteries will be Remembering and Honoring our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's 53 fallen heroes buried in Dyer Cemetery, North Bay Cemetery, Oaklawn Cemetery, and the Memorial Garden at the Horton Bay United Methodist Church.
Please join us as we celebrate our 11th year participating in Wreaths Across America!
Our ceremony will begin at 11:45 AM at Dyer Cemetery located at 5268 Camp Daggett Rd , Boyne City, MI, 49712. Wreath Placement will follow immediately after the ceremony and we will then proceed to North Bay Cemetery on Church Road, then to Oaklawn Cemetery on Horton Bay Rd. N., and conclude at the Memorial Garden at the HBUM Church.
The 8 Ceremonial Wreaths will be placed at the cemetery entrances of our three Bay Township cemeteries and at the Memorial Gardens at the church.
+ Programs will be available.
+ All attendees are invited to place a wreath on the flag holder hook located at each veteran's gravesite, and take time to reflect and remember and honor the veteran buried there.

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Bay Township Area Cemeteries. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
