<i class="material-icons" data-template="memories-icon">stars</i><br/>Donald Jacka Sr., Navy, LCDR, USN <br/>Served from 1941 to 1962<br/>Born 7/21/1919<br/>Passed on 8/23/2004<br/>Posted by: Jolene P.<br/><div class='remember-wall-long-description'>Donald LaFawn Jacka, Sr., LCDR, USN Retired: Jacka enlisted in the US Navy in 1941, and was commissioned a Naval Aviator in 1942. He flew in the Pacific Theater during WWII, and flew Patrol bombers during the Korean War. A highly decorated Naval Officer, Commander Jacka in 1953 commissioned the Naval Air Station in Fallon, NV. After various oversea duty stations, he retired from the US Navy in 1962, completing his tour of duty in Morocco. Donald LaFawn Jacka, Sr., LCDR, USN Retired of Leavenworth, KS, died Monday, August 23, 2004, at his home. He was born on July 21, 1919, in Fairmount, KS.</div><a class='btn btn-primary btn-sm mt-2 remember-wall-toggle-long-description' onclick='initRememberWallToggleLongDescriptionBtn(this)'>Learn more</a> Donald Jacka Sr., Navy
