After Pearl Harbor, Mom said the young men left one by one. Their last day at Sunday lunch they got to eat at the front table with their girlfriend id they had one. She said they cried as they walked out wondering if they would see them again. Dad was among the last to leave campus. We spent Thanksgiving together and talked about you, but I am sure you were listening from up above. Even Poopsie misses you. She searches for you daily at the homestead and Dad can't shake her when he is out and about or he ends up going for a ride into town for coffee and donuts for the two of them. We wish you were still here with us, yesterday was hard...We love you, we know that you are free of that unimaginable day to day pain caused by your injuries and ailments, but that doesn't mean that we don't miss one of God's very special Angels.
