Welcome to the NC0254P - Ruth Davidson Chapter, NSDAR's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 19, 2026 at 12:00 pm (EST), NC0254P - Ruth Davidson Chapter, NSDAR will be helping Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Grave Specific Placement: December 19, 2026 at 10:15 AM (EST), Grave Specific Wreath Laying will begin at 10:15am starting with wreaths purchased by family members followed by all other grave specific wreaths .

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

Parking Instructions

The upper parking lot will be designated for Handicapped Parking. Other parking should be on one side of the drive, on the shoulder. Please do not block the driveway.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain.


Here are some things you will need to know:

  • Volunteers should arrive at the cemetery by 10:00 AM
  • Briefing will be at 10:10 AM
  • Wreath laying will begin at 10:15 AM for grave specific wreaths followed by all other wreaths at 11:00am
  • Ceremony will be at Noon
