On December 19, 2026 at 09:30 am (EST), VA0596P - Nelly Custis Chapter, DAR will be helping Alexandria National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.
Parking Instructions
Parking on WIlkes Street in front of the cemetery is reserved for handicapped and speakers. We advise attendees to park on S Payne Street. There should also be parking available in the Bethel Cemetery, but the road is one-way, one-lane which will make it difficult to depart.Ceremony and Volunteer Information

Alexandria National Cemetery will hold a public ceremony in recognition of the seven Ceremonial wreaths Honoring the military branches and POW/MIA at the front gate of Alexandria National Cemetery at 9:30 AM, 19 December 2026..
