In Memoriam
by Robert Buss for John J. Hardy, Navy, Honored by Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood

Mr. Hardy, very regretfully, neither of us had the honor and privilege of knowing you. But, we've learned a lot about you, your U.S. Navy service, and your family from your son (Mark) and his wife (Mary Beth), who are very dear and special friends of ours. It's obvious that they adored you and that you served as a very impressive role model that helped shaped Mark's life and character. Rest in peace, Mr. Hardy, and "thank you' for serving our fine country so admirably. God Bless. -Bob & Noreen Buss
