Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself. Be aware, we are a small beach community with very narrow streets and little parking. Suggest parking along both sides of West 1st Street but off the pavement as much as possible.
Parking Instructions
Inside the cemetery, there is plenty of parking. Keep in mind you must stay on the roadways. No parking on graves.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are committed to ensuring the safety of our community and will be holding a public ceremony and wreath laying.
Sponsored wreaths in 2026 will be placed by volunteers, including Veterans, Active Duty, families, friends and public patrons. If you have purchased a wreath and would like to place it on your Veterans grave, please be at the cemetery at 10:30 am before the ceremony begins to collect your wreath(s). See Margaret Levens at one of the 2 tents. You will be given time immediately following the ceremony to place your Veterans wreath(s) before the other wreaths are placed. Any other special requests, please contact either of our volunteer Location Coordinators Wendy or Margaret by December 18th at wjgriffioen1960@gmail.com or (228) 424-6910 or margaretlevens@gmail.com or (228) 364-3642 to make those arrangements. We look forward to having you join us for this very special occasion.
