Welcome to the Mare Island Naval Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.

This year, the National Wreaths Across America Day ceremony for our location will be held privately on Saturday, December 19th, 2020. We are making necessary modifications to our ceremony plans and laying of veteran wreaths to ensure the safety of all who attend and participate. All sponsored veteran wreaths will be placed by a small group of core volunteers. If you need to make special arrangements, please contact our location coordinator at stevenash415@gmail.com. We look forward to having you join us at our event next year on Saturday, December 18th, 2021!

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button.

by Melissa Pearce for Ralph Francis Heddinghaus, Army, Honored by Mare Island Naval Cemetery

Ralph Francis Heddinghaus quietly served America in World War II with a tour in Germany. He was a good and honorable man and is greatly missed by his family and friends. We honor his steadfast love, especially for his wife, Evelyn Frances Heddinghaus. We cherish her great faith and the power of prayer, and we trust in their reunion in Heaven. With love, Deacon Jim and Dr. Melissa Pearce, Jim and Jenny Figueira, and Alice Heddinghaus-Pearce
