Welcome to the OH0247P - Joshua Stow DAR Chapter's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), OH0247P - Joshua Stow DAR Chapter will be helping Stow Cemetery, Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, and Arlington National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

To select the location you would like to sponsor your wreath, click the red Sponsor Wreaths button, select the quantity of wreaths to sponsor, and under Location to Support, click on Stow Cemetery to generate a drop down menu.

Directions to Cemetery

The cemetery is located west of Rt. 91 in Stow on the south side of Kent Rd. 

Additionally, entering 3162 Kent Rd, Stow, OH 44224 into your navigation system will provide directions to the cemetery. 

When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

Parking Instructions

When you arrive at the cemetery you will be directed to parking. Participants are asked to park at Holy Family Church and School across the street from the cemetery. There will be two uniformed auxiliary police officers to assist you in safely crossing busy Rt 59 to get to the cemetery.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Stow Cemetery. Please email JoshuaStowDAR@gmail.com if you would like to coordinate a group of volunteers.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths Across America and Joshua Stow NSDAR with this important event!
