REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Thank you for supporting the Jersey Blue Chapter, Naitonal Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Our chapter was first organized on February 14, 1894, by 13 women with the desire to represent the historically-significant city of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Our founding members chose the name "Jersey Blue" to honor New Jersey's first military regiment, the famed Jersey Blues - a blue-uniformed regiment of troops from Piscataway who served in the Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Since 1914, our chapter has been the stewards of Buccleuch Mansion, the historic home of General George Washington's aide-de-camp, Anthony Walton White. The mansion is open to the public as a museum with chapter members serving as docents. Carrying on a proud and long-standing tradition of supporting America's service men and women, our chapter manages a clothing room at the Menlo Park Veterans' Home and sponsors other recreational activities for veterans.

The grassroots work of local chapters promotes the organization's objectives of historic preservation, education and patriotism. In communities across the country and around the world, DAR members support these ideals through participation in restoring and maintaining historic sites, historical records and artifacts, locating, restoring and marking American Revolutionary War patriot grave sites and headstones and numerous other community service projects.

Please join us as we honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Thank you so much for supporting the Jersey Blue Chapter, The Elmwood Cemetery and Wreaths Across America!
