REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to Rest Haven Funeral Home & Memorial Park's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 18th, Wreaths Across America will be at Rest Haven's Rockwall location to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Feel free to bring your change to honor our veterans as well. This is especially important for any of our veterans who do not receive wreaths this year. Placing a penny means you visited; placing a nickel indicates you and the deceased trained at boot camp/basic together; placing a dime means you served together; placing a quarter indicates you were with them when they were killed.
Please practice social distancing and mask protocol.
Thank you for helping our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.
Thank you so much for supporting Rest Haven Rockwall and Wreaths Across America!

We didn’t know what we were getting into and had no idea how it would affect all of us. Now, it changes you over the years of meeting veterans and Gold Star families and seeing how much it means to people....

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery, just be sure you've put in the city of Rockwall, not Rowlett as there is a Rest Haven in Rowlett as well. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.
Parking InstructionsThere is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot.
Ceremony and Volunteer Information
Thank you for your willingness to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Rest Haven Rockwall! Please do not forget to register to volunteer! This is a community event and everyone is welcome.
On December 18th, please join us as we prepare graves for our ceremony. Dress accordingly for weather. Work gloves and a screwdriver are recommended to help clean dirt from vases. Please practice social distancing and follow mask protocol.
Here are some things to remember about laying wreaths:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
