REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Prospect Hill Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.

For the first time ever, Omaha's Historic Prospect Hill Cemetery will be participating in Wreaths Across America. The idea is simple - a live, handmade balsam wreath will be placed on the grave of a veteran. That veteran's name will be said aloud as the wreath is placed, honoring their service and keeping their memory alive.

For only $17 you can sponsor one of these wreaths which will be placed on the grave of a veteran at Prospect Hill Cemetery. The deadline to sponsor a 2022 wreath is Monday, November 28th

You have the option to sponsor a wreath for a specific veteran at Prospect Hill Cemetery! Perhaps your parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or friend. Go to Prospect Hill Cemetery's Wreaths Across America page, select "Sponsor Wreaths", then choose the "Grave Specific" option at the bottom of the page. There you can enter the veterans information and request your sponsored wreath be placed on their grave.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button.

Thank you so much for supporting Prospect Hill Cemetery and Wreaths Across America!

by Shannon Justice for Paul Crosby, Army, Private Company E 13th Volunteer Minnesota Infantry, Served From 1888 to 1888, Born 02/28/81, Passed On 10/04/98, Honored by Prospect Hill Cemetery

Though Paul's monument is not massive in size, it touches those who view it. This young man's determination to serve his country defined his life. I am grateful for the opportunity to honor him for his service.
