Veterans Day at Arlington: Honoring General John J. Pershing
Each Veterans Day, Companions of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) gather at the gravesite of General of the Armies John J. “Black Jack” Pershing in Arlington National Cemetery for a longstanding memorial service in his honor.

Directions to Cemetery
The cemetery's address is 1701 McDonald, McKinney, TX 75069. Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.
Parking Instructions
Please enter the cemetery via the Industrial Blvd entrance on the north side of the cemetery. Follow the directions of the volunteers indicating where to park.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Pecan Grove Cemetery. There will be a public ceremony and wreath laying event this year. As in past years, you will arrive at the cemetery prior to the ceremony and will be able to request a veteran card and lay a wreath for one of our veterans.

Thank you for remembering and honoring the veterans at Historic Pecan Grove Cemetery by sponsoring a wreath or volunteering. Historic Pecan Grove Cemetery is the final resting place of governors, gunslingers and the early McKinney Pioneers. Almost 900 American Veteran Heroes from every American conflict since the Mexican War also rest here.
