Welcome to my personal fundraising page for MinotWreaths.org! I am Cadet Airman First Class Jose Armenta of the Civil Air Patrol Magic City Composite Squadron in Minot and I am proud to be supporting Wreaths Across America. “Remember, Honor, Teach” means remembering those who served, honoring them, and then teaching others how to honor them too. It’s a cycle of respect that I’m proud to be part of.
My favorite part of wreath ceremony day was setting up the crosses — it was fun, and it felt good to help create something meaningful for our community. CAP has taught me a lot about what it means to serve. If I had to sum CAP up in three words, I’d say volunteer service, excellence, and trustworthiness.
My favorite part of being a cadet is easy: Senior Member Webb’s cookies — definitely. Beyond the cookies, CAP is helping me work toward my dream of getting my pilot’s license. Every activity gives me more confidence and shows me what leadership really looks like.
I’ve learned how to speak up, step forward, and be a leader. CAP pushes me to grow, and Wreaths Across America gives me a chance to honor the people who made our freedom possible.
Wreath Wars: Cadet Edition!
When fundraising meets friendly combat,
one cadet emerges victorious, and ALL the veterans win!
Sponsor wreaths for your favorite cadet — or browse their personally written
bios and pick the one whose vibe speaks to your soul HERE!
This FUN, slightly competitive, fully chaotic-in-a-good-way showdown pits Civil Air Patrol Magic City Composite Squadron Cadets against each other in a race to earn the title of WREATH COMMANDER - the battle-ready honor that proves they dominated the fundraising arena! Prizes from our wonderful Minot business community, bragging rights, and squadron glory keep the energy sky-high… but at the core of all the fun is one mission: honoring veterans with every wreath earned. And remember, 29% of all wreath funding returns to our community and funds our Cadet squadron ground programming for the year! Events such as search and rescue exercises, character and leadership development, rocketry education, physical fitness training, and educational field trips would not be possible without the donations of Minot's generous wreath sponsors! Stayed tuned to Facebook.com/MinotWreaths for updates! Results will be in December 10th!
