Welcome to the NWCA Peninsula Norfolk #91's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On 15 December 2019 at 12:00 pm veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. 

Hampton National Cemetery located at  

Cemetery Road, Hampton, VA 23666

(Use entrance via the Hampton University main gate)

Wreath preparation: 8:30 am - 11:30am

Ceremony and Wreath Laying 11:45 am.

(Ceremony begins promptly at 12:00 pm. rain or shine!!!)

From Interstate Highway I-64, take exit 267 (Hampton University exit) and turn left onto US-60W/VA-143W (Settlers Landing Road) toward Hampton University. Turn left onto Tyler Street (also known as William R. Harvey Way) at the entrance to Hampton University. Proceed to Cemetery Road (approximately .4 miles) and turn left. You will pass through a Hampton University security check point. Cemetery is located straight ahead.  


Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking on the campus of Hampton University.

Please follow the parking directions of the Hampton University Police at the main gate and of the uniformed troops directing traffic. 

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

This year, the National Wreaths Across America Day ceremony for our location will be shared virtually on Saturday, December 19th, 2020. All sponsored veteran wreaths will be held until next year and placed at the wreath day event in 2021. Please help us reach our goal of fully covering our cemetery next year by sponsoring a wreath TODAY for placement in 2021!
