REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to the Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 14, 2019 at 10:00 am, Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society will be helping Evergreen Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. Additionally, a small percentage of each donation assists the society in funding headstone cleaning, repairs, and restoration.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
Thank you so much for supporting the Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society and Wreaths Across America!

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the Evergreen Chapel where the ceremony will be held before laying wreaths at selected headstones.
Parking InstructionsThere is plenty of parking around the cemetery, however, please give heed to the "No Parking" signs. This will ensure adequate room for guests and traffic. Designated handicap parking is available for those with state issued placards or license plates.
NOTE: Be mindful that there are deep irrigation ditches along many of the roadways in the cemetery - we'd hate to see you ruin a rim or tire!
Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer so you will receive all updates about the cemetery itself!
NOTE: Unless the weather is so severe that transportation across Colorado Springs is shut down, we will be placing wreaths regardless of rain, snow, or good weather!
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- The ceremony starts promptly at 10:00 am at section 221 (first section on the right as you enter the cemetery) followed by the wreath laying.
- Please do not place wreaths until the ceremony concludes and the location coordinator releases volunteers across the cemetery.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
