REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to the Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society (CO0067P)'s Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 17, 2022 at 12:00 pm, Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society (CO0067P) will be helping Evergreen Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
Thank you so much for supporting the Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society (CO0067P) and Wreaths Across America!

You don’t have to wait to be an adult before you step up and do something. We encourage patriotism because we live in such an incredible country, and we want to honor those who protect our freedoms, and it’s a joy to do that.”...

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please check in at Evergreen Chapel before laying wreaths at selected headstones in your assigned section(s).
Parking Instructions
There is plenty of parking around the cemetery, however, please give heed to the "No Parking" signs. This will ensure adequate room for guests and traffic. Designated handicap parking is available for those with state issued placards or license plates.NOTE: Be mindful that there are deep irrigation ditches along many of the roadways in the cemetery - we'd hate to see you ruin a rim or tire!
Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer so you will receive all updates about the cemetery itself!
This year, on National Wreaths Across America Day, we will not be holding a ceremony, but we will be laying all sponsored veteran wreaths. We are making necessary modifications to ensure the safety of all who attend and participate. To join us in laying wreaths, please click the red Volunteer button and sign up for an available time slot. Thank you!
NOTE: Unless the weather is so severe that transportation across Colorado Springs is shut down, we will be placing wreaths regardless of rain, snow, or good weather!
Here are some things to remember:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
- Check in at Evergreen Chapel before proceeding to your assigned section(s).
- Please do not place wreaths in sections to which you are not assigned. The box(es) at each section will have the first initial and last name of the individual who signed up to volunteer.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
