Ceremony and Volunteer Information

This year, the National Wreaths Across America Day ceremony for our location will be open to the public and will take place at 12PM at St. John Catholic Cemetery's outdoor altar area in Section 16, located behind the cemetery's office/chapel building.  Please arrive by 11:45AM, and park in the cemetery's parking lot - located at 403 E. South Street in Jackson, MI - or you can park on the side of the cemetery's roads.  (If you park on the side of a road within the cemetery's grounds, make sure you pull over far enough to allow for vehicles to pass by you.)

After the ceremony (at approximately 12:15PM), you are welcome to stay to place the Remembrance wreaths on the graves of veterans buried in St. John Catholic Cemetery.  Trucks loaded with boxes of wreaths will be stationed throughout the cemetery.  Walk to the area of the cemetery where you would like to place Remembrance wreaths, and find a truck loaded with wreaths.  A cemetery employee will be positioned at each truck to give you further instructions.

If you are unable to attend the ceremony in person this year, you will be able to view our ceremony live on our Facebook page - St. John Catholic Cemetery - on December 18th at 12PM.
