He was born August 21, 1941 in humble, poor beginnings in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. He left the day after he graduated for boot camp and always wanted to be a Marine because he loved the uniform. He gave 26 years of his life to the Corp and was a soldier through and through. Vietnam veteran, highly decorated and so very loving. He loved his God , his family and his country until the end. The world was a much better place with him in it. So today we honor the “voice in the wilderness, the alien, Maverick, the invisible man, a Marine of marines and most importantly my dad. May your name never leave our lips dad until we meet again in eternity.
