He was a weekend warrior who marched in parades, participated in Air Guard events and wore his uniform proudly.He loved traveling around the country staying at military lodging while on vacation.He taught is family, especially his grandchildren,the importance of serving his country. He especially appreciated the kindness, respect and thanks he received when wearing his Air Force hats. He was very nice. He was an amazing dad to me, to us. It was so much fun playing with him. Even if I was young and didn't remember him much, I will "remember him in my heart." -AHe was an amazing father. I was only two when he died, but I still remember most of the things that happened and still miss him so much. I love him for who he was and for who he is. -C
