SGT Samuel Clark arrived in NYC from Ireland in 1853. Served in the 1st NY Volunteer Engineer Regiment. Enlisted September 1861, mortally wounded at Battery Gregg, Morris Island SC , 22SEP1863, he was 29 years of age. Samuel left behind his wife Sarah and 3 children; Elizabeth, John and Samuel.

Terry is buried in Arlington National Cemetery but resided in Beaufort, South Carolina where his wife, Kathleen Myron lives. The wreaths will be placed in Beaufort National Cemetery in his memory.
