<i class="material-icons" data-template="memories-icon">chat_bubble</i><br/>Edward Paul Skroback, Marine Corps, Corporal<br/>Born 1/13/1937<br/>Passed on 7/8/1962<br/>Posted by: Rowan Knox Fitzpatrick<br/><div class='remember-wall-long-description'>Edward Paul Skroback, 25, of 1110 High Street died on July 8th, 1962 in Fort Lee Hospital after being ill for several months. A native of Hopewell, Mr. Skroback was born on January 13th, 1937 and had been a life-long resident of Hopewell. A brick layer (laid the bricks at 214 N 6th Ave, Hopewell, VA), He served for seven years with the US Marine Corps Reserves and was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church. His late parents were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Skroback of Hopewell. His three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Bradshaw, Mrs. Ruth Collins and Mrs. Dorothy Brown. His late paternal grandmother Mrs. Julia Skroback of Hopewell. His only surviving sister Ms. Pauline Bradshaw has a great-grandson Rowan Knox Fitzpatrick (Cub Scout Pack 910 of Prince George) that will be laying a wreath in his memory on December 13th, 2025 at 12pm.</div><a class='btn btn-primary btn-sm mt-2 remember-wall-toggle-long-description' onclick='initRememberWallToggleLongDescriptionBtn(this)'>Learn more</a> Edward Paul Skroback, Marine Corps
