The Fort Knox Post Cemetery is the final resting place for Soldiers and their dependents. With over 800 gravesites, the historic cemetery includes war casualties, decorated veterans, and their loved ones. For $17.00 you can sponsor a wreath this December on National Wreaths Across America Day and help us remember and honor those interred there.

The Fort Knox Post Cemetery has a long history dating to the early years of the installation and has evolved while keeping its historic setting. In recent years it was the first Army post cemetery to meet the “National Shrine Standards” set by the Office of Army Cemeteries. U.S. Army Garrison Fort Knox hosts an annual ceremony on National Wreaths Across America Day in which wreaths are placed on gravesites there. Please help us remember and honor those interred by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering on Wreaths Day, and/or inviting your family and friends to attend with you. This event is a wonderful time to teach our children the value of freedom.

The Fort Knox Post Cemetery is quietly located along 701st Tank Battalion Road and can only be accessed by entering the installation. Attendance is not required to sponsor a wreath. Thanks to those that help make the National Wreaths Across America Day at the Fort Knox Post Cemetery a memorable event!

In Memory Of for Leonard P. Alexander, United States Military, Honored by Fort Knox Cemetery

My favorite picture of my Mom & Dad when they were young newlyweds. So proud of them & the sacrifices they made for our country. Wish we could have had him longer & they had the opportunity to grow old together, but so proud to be raised by them & carry on their values. Miss them both every day.
