Welcome to the Roseburg National Cemetery- Oregon's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 13, 2025 at 1:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Roseburg National Cemetery- Oregon to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Join our community at the Wreath Laying Ceremony to honor ALL fallen heroes laid to rest. Click the "Sponsor" button to sponsor a wreath to help us reach our goal. Click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below to register to participate. Bring your children and grandchildren to teach them the value of freedom.

Each Veterans Day, Companions of the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) gather at the gravesite of General of the Armies John J. “Black Jack” Pershing in Arlington National Cemetery for a longstanding memorial service in his honor.

Directions to Cemetery

The Wreath Placing Ceremony will be held at the flags monument on the grounds of the Roseburg VA. Please navigate to the VA Medical Center via Harvard Avenue. Please allow ample time for parking and a short walk to the ceremony site. Traffic will be routed to available parking. Shuttles will be available for pickup and drop off. Details and map will be published in November.

Parking Instructions

Watch this page for details about parking and transportation to Roseburg National Cemetery for the ceremony. We anticipate a high number of participants. Therefore, we are working with County and City officials as well as the VA to accommodate attendees. Accessible parking will be available at the Roseburg VA. Shuttles will be available from different schools in the area.

In 2024, we placed a historical 7,000 Wreaths -- one for EACH of our Fallen Heroes

LET'S DO IT AGAIN!

We are THRILLED to announce each of the veterans laid to rest in Roseburg National Cemetery received a wreath. Let's do it again! We are grateful for your willingness to sponsor wreaths and volunteer.  

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • This small gesture of gratitude for the freedoms Americans enjoy at the wreath laying ceremony honors our fallen heroes.
  • Say their names aloud and thank them for their service.
  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Instructions on where and how to place wreaths will be given at ceremony conclusion.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up. Wreath pick-up day is January 17, 2025.
